Background

This firm had turned to Doubletake for a staff holiday gift solution many times in the past, and after nearly two years of dealing with the pandemic, they were looking for a way to deliver comfort and appreciation to their hardworking team.  With many of the firm's 2,500 employees still working remotely in the lead-up to holiday season 2021, their HR team needed a way to manage the logistics of delivering gifts to each employee's individual address, spread across the globe from their 16 U.S. offices, plus their offices in the UK, Cayman Islands, Israel, and India.


The Mission

- Show appreciation to 2,500 hardworking and talented employees 

 - Express the themes of "comfort" and "relaxation" through a holiday gift  

- Deliver each gift directly to every employee's door  

- Enable employees to request their preferred delivery address, while eliminating logistical challenges 

- Provide a message of support, encouragement, and appreciation directly from the firm's CEO


Doubletake's Solution

- Encapsulate the "comfort" and "relaxation" themes in a luxurious sherpa fleece blanket embroidered with the firm's logo  

- Leverage our manufacturing partners in India to deliver matching blankets to 400+ employees in Mumbai and Bangalore while keeping shipping costs and VAT/duties to a minimum  

- Develop a Web Store "Pop-Up Shop" to capture mailing addresses with a retail-like e-commerce experience for employees.  

- Create a beautifully designed greeting card printed with a message from the CEO  

- Tissue paper and gift box packaging for premium presentation and unboxing experience  

- Manage all fulfillment, kitting, and individual deliveries for a stress-free client experience

- Fun, suspense-building experience for employees visiting the Web Store
